Our rv was an older unit with 130k miles and if i can recommend anything it. We had rented an rv from cruise america thinking that it is a big company and has good customer support. I would highly recommend taking an rv road trip down to the florida keys but renting an rv from cruise america is not something i would recommend. And indeed even though they do offer rvs of different sizes for rental they only have a couple of thor majestic class c motorhomes which are basically reinforced variants of thor four winds rvs.

The experience was subpar reservation delayed and service was poor. I thought that i read all the fineprint however there was still lots that i missed or couldnt find out. Cruise america has 4 rv rental options to offer large standard compact and truck camper. We rented a standard rv from cruise america at the temple ga location for the dates of 7 17 2020 to 8 8 2020.

The overall rating of the company is 1 8 and consumers are mostly dissatisfied. This was a new rv with only 5 846 miles when we got the rv. On 8 25 about 2 hrs after renting the rv we had called to complain about the noise with microwave. I hope if someone from cruise america reads this and can take our experience as constructive.

The engine light was on and when i mentioned this to the cruise america rep she stated that it was a blown fuse and they were aware of it and had checked the rv out. Stay away don t rent from cruise america do not. The reservation process was simple and everyone i encountered on the phone and at the location was friendly and helpful.
