Cover An Old Rug With Fabric

I am using craft pillows on the steats but want to wrap the edges before covering with fabric.

I have my memaw s old enamel top table. Starting with the long sides fold the fabric edges up over the mat. Fabric with a tighter weave will not require as many coats as the duck cloth i am using does. If needed add extra spray adhesive along the edges of the fabric and the rubber mat.
